Sunset Kisses has two living space floors and one ground floor. At maximum, the house can sleep 13. There are two Master Queen Bedrooms with attached bathrooms, One Queen Bedroom, One bedroom with two sets of bunk beds plus a trundle and a double futon on the first floor family room. In addition to the master baths, there is another full bathroom and one half-bath. Both floors have a full-length deck. The first floor is entirely covered and screened, and the top deck is partially covered and screened.
Main Floor (second level)
The second floor is where all the action takes place. One of the greatest benefits of renting Sunset Kisses opposed to a hotel room is that it is a fully functioning home. While you’ll definitely want to check out the area restaurants, it is a wonderful bonus to not have to drag the family out and about for EVERY meal. The kitchen has all basic cookware and dinnerware, and for the adults, some barware too. The local grocery is not a far drive either, about five minutes. If you love to cook, there is Bill’s Seafood at Crabby Oddwaters by the causeway – you’ll want to visit them!
If you have a large group staying at Sunset Kisses; and there is definitely plenty of room for a large group, there is a six person dining room table and five person breakfast bar. If that’s still not enough, there is a six person dining table on the adjoining covered/screened deck (and the view is spectacular) that is accessible with a sliding door.
The kitchen and dining area opens to Sunset Kisses main living room. Here you can watch a movie with the family. The TV has HDMI ports. Feel free to plug-in your Apple TV, Roku or other streaming device. You’ll also find the Wi-Fi information on the entertainment stand.
If TV is not your thing, enjoy the sun inside with the many windows and skylight; and enjoy the outside with brightly colored Adirondack chairs and an ocean view.
Our family also enjoys putting puzzles together or playing Mexican Train on the dining room table.
There is also a Queen Master bedroom with attached full bath. This is my mother’s bedroom, and she finds it relaxing to be able to rest in the bedroom, then enjoy the sun in the nearby living room.
Although you may not look forward to doing laundry while on vacation; if the need arises, there is access to the washer and dryer in the laundry room.
Entry Floor (first level)
The ground floor is where your adventure begins. There is an outside shower for your convenience (no one wants sand in their house or beds). There is an outdoor sink and counter that you can use to clean fish or seashells.
Here there are two sets of stairs to access the inside of the house. One set of stairs has the chairlift.
In addition to two covered parking spots, the driveway can accommodate three vehicles with off-road parking.
This is where you become part of the community. The neighbors are always friendly. Kids are always riding bikes. The beach access is a short 3 minute walk from Sunset Kisses. Most of all, the road is quiet with little traffic.
